ARTURO STANIG
Arturo Stanig is a fine art and editorial photographer based in New York. Following a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, Stanig has been researching is visual language through personal projects and commissioned work in the US and Europe. He apprenticed under the iconic downtown photographer Roxanne Lowit.
Stanig’s images mix abstraction and documentarian realism. The synthesis of photographic genres comes through as associations of visual perceptions: a hermetic voyage through landscapes, concept and portraits as states of mind.
